Regional Coordinator

There are Six Regional Keys
  • Central
  • Northeast
  • Northwest
  • South Central
  • Southeast
  • Southwest

Who Does What?

  • Keystone STARS - Encourages participation in Keystone STARS; Administers Keystone STARS standards and offers guidance and encouramgent to facilities; Administers Keystone STARS financial supports.
  • Develops and implements annual REgional Plans for advancing early care and education in the region.
  • Coordinates higher education offerings and promote articulation agreements.
  • Provides professional development opportunities and funding.
  • Provides STARS Techinical Assistance
  • Engages regional stakeholders
  • Administers and implements Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) and School-Age Child Care (SACC) Projects.
  • Conducts outreach campaigns
  • In coordination with OCDEL and The PA Keys, develops guidelines for Community Engagement Group grant applications, review applications and determine funding levels for CEGS.

  • Creates networking opportunities that will enhance partnerhsips and sharing of information.
Facilitating
  • Aligns Regional Key plans with CEG activities
Monitoring
  • Executes and monitor CEG contracts
  • Provides oral and written feedback quarterly to CEG Coordinator
Technical Assistance
  • Provides technical assistance and resources
  • Participates on conference calls
Reporting
  • Prepares and send quarterly reports
